Prophets Pass Judgment on America

Wednesday, December 26, 2007

Remember all those prophecies out there on the Internet that declare the Lord is bringing judgment on the U.S. in the month of November 2007. These directives suggested we begin stockpiling food and supplies. Well, November is come and gone. It’s December 26. Judgment did not come to America.

Once again, all prophecy must be judged. God did no pour out His wrath on the United States of America. What is the inspiration of such prophecies, then? Prophecy come from one of three sources: the Holy Spirit, the human spirit or an evil spirit. Where are these seemingly endless prophecies about the destruction of America coming from, then? You know, the ones that never come to pass?

America will be judged that is certain but I don’t think a person can put a date on such things unless the Lord says so. You really don’t need to be prophetic to know that God will judge America, there are two other sources. The Bible in the book of Revelations and common sense for when we as Christians allow abortion on demand and homosexuals to get away with the rubbish they promote. The last human right to take place before God judges a nation is for homosexuals to get their rights. Look at history, it happened time and time again from Sodom and Gomorrah.
